I ended up getting a custom-made PowerTech prop based upon what they then called the Offshore series, 15.25" diameter with 16.5" pitch, with very aggressive rake progression. (blade pitch 1.5" from the hub was only 12") It cost me over $700 at the time. I ended up with greatly improved top-end AND hole shot. I REALLY like PowerTech. I am again less than thrilled with my overall performance, this time I have a Trophy Plus on my Optimax, and have my eye on a used Powertech SCD4 19", but have not convinced the repair shop to swap for my Trophy Plus 21"P ![]()
