Carl said the same thing after he approached Johnny Morris about improving the original designs from the 60's. I guess some may not have enough vision to see that it can be better. Carl knows exactly what to do to make each vessel better depending on it's intended use although he never really had the chance to perfect his concepts. The man is a genius!
