Default Re: Boat Insurance Question

Quote:
I loved having Boat US as my insurance. While not the cheapest, they were very competitive and added great value to the overall experience.

Let me explain. When I was insured with BoatUS, I only had to get three estimates of repairs and suggest who I wanted to have do the work. If their estimate was in line with the others I was given authorization for the work to begin. Being up here in New England with its short boating season this was a big help. The reason for this was that I did not have to wait for appraisers to submit their estimates and then wait for the company to get back in touch with me. It could be accomplished in a day are two and a couple of phone calls and I was back in the water at least two weeks sooner. If that's not value, all eat my hat!
i do a considerible amount of insurance work, and,by far,BOAT US insurance is the absolute best.BOAT US settles claims very quickly.it's usually a day or two before one of their reps are at the shop to check the damage.i can't recomend them enough...worst,absolute worst,is state farm
