i did some more demo work today. i have to take the floor out on the port side right away to get access to the full stringer so i can repair it. the top layer of skin came off very easy. some of the wood under it was very mushy. there is a few good sections still. i got shut down tonite at about 9:30. i guess hammering makes a little more noise than i thought. does anyone know of a good way to get that good wood off the bottom layer of skin?? some one wedged some plywood between the stringer to support the floor. a HUGE chunk of cabosil was loose under there too. on to the pics.
