I left the old hose in the tank compartment,and used a plastic insert coupling pushed into the old hose and the new hose ends.
It was a very tight fit so no clamps were needed.I removed the filler port that still was attached to the old hose and pulled both through the filler end until the new hose end came thru.
It was a lot easier than I thought it would be,I was ready for a nightmare job.It was one of my few lucky moments.
Also I have a Tsunami not a cc so maybe it's not the same setup.
