Did you have the Bosch 1250 DVS. Reviews were good. locating fitting to connect with shop vac was only major issue I found besides controlling it in the agressive material removal mode. I am going to check it out at Lowes or Sears tomorrow.

I have an older Porter Cable 5" sander with stick on sanding discs and the clamp on vacuum attachment. The 5" version was not very stable and the vacuum attachment was difficult to keep in fixed in correct position.
