I looked at that stuff at Lowes and ended up going with the 3/16 masonite (tempered hardboard). I had to spray it with Lacquer to get the surface I wanted. Does the coated stuff give you a smooth enough surface that you could gelcoat it and skip most of the fairing? I may try it for my next mold.
