Its possible that he was a genius and that's why the rest of us are stumped.

This i highly doubt. The original owner maybe. he did very good work on the full transom conversion. The owner before me filled in the drainage holes for the live well with putty and silicone. lived up in the boonies in north north florida. Im from miami and even i wasnt confortable going out where this guy was......... "I hear banjos" and thoughts about some of those scenes from Deliverance..
