They say that your memory is the second thing to go! LOL I'm just wondering if it would fit under my lean to. My Carolina Classic is 13'4" so it shouldn't be a problem.

Steve, My 27 is sitting on an old homemade mobile home
trailer frame that came with the boat. I put four new
14.5 inch tires on it to get her home. I would say that
the Continental that Carl's boat is on sits alot lower!

See ya, Ken

I want to say "thank you" to so many of you for sharing your info and experiences.

Sitting on the trailer in our driveway ... The boat looked HUGE!
Now sitting in the water, she doesn't seem quite so tall.
Although I have heard mentioned many times, she's the largest 27 ...
Like being 27 going on 34!
We did not measure her on dry land, but improvising by taking several measurements while in the water & measuring trailer, estimating her trailer & boat height to be 12'2" to 12'6" .

On the way from ramp to dock, Skippertee had her going about 40 mph, and more throttle to go. I think she could get you home in time for dinner.

Oh yeah....and the hole shot was pretty damn good also!! I'm not an expert, however I think there is more fine tuning available with the engine heights on the bracket. Seemed to me they were a couple of inches low. The 4000rpm speed was very nice, seemed to be in the same range as my 23'er. Someone is going to get a very, very solid boat on this one for a very low price!!!

Shouldn't be hard to physically change the name ... it's painted, so a little buffing compound should work ... but there is a ceremony you are to perform ...

I've had requests for more pictures ... so I'm going to show her off a little more.

Aft port...Washdown, 2-fuel tank switch

Live Bait well/pump/etc.

Standing room in head with sink

Galley sink with teak dish rack ... looks new.

AIR CONDITIONER !!!! under left side of galley cabinet

Fresh water tank (20 gals?) under galley sink

Hanging closet between V-Berths & Dinette ... includes huge speaker & a fan.

Dinette. Table drops to another bunk. Storage under seats.

Storage lockers with all gizmos behind doors (bilge pumps, battery switches, battery charge controller, etc.
Two Fish boxes just under transom cap

Aluminum bracket (Armstrong?) with bilge pump in it too.

And Last, 2003 Continental trailer w/ brakes, guide poles, new wench cable & hook.

I think from these pictures, you can tell this boat was built solid, well maintained and is ready to be enjoyed.
She definitely does not look her age.
Someone is going to be a very happy owner of this boat.
