I have a F100 on a master angler. I like it and it is fast enough for New England waters. And light enough to allow a kicker, too (just).

With no kicker and the stern lifting prop I mentioned you might be able to use a regular fin, not a hydroshield, and get the same or slightly better performance, but that's a guess. Or go down in pitch and get better holeshot. I still haven't synced or timed the motor, and it has a little bog at 3000 rpm but it isn't a problem, as that is a speed faster than "no wake" but slower than planing speed.
