Also read the two threads Bushwacker referenced above. They will give you a good overview of the quirks of the seafari 25. It is a fabulous boat, but not for everybody. Its so sharp, it leans a lot when turning. I hardly notice anymore, but sometimes my passengers freak out if not warned ahead of time.
On buying sight unseen: Assume you will need a major redo, no matter what it sounds like. Not a bad assumption for a 40 year old boat, even if you get a good look at it.
