Holy Crap, you guys are making me blush. This is Chris, the owner of the 23' Sceptre, along with my dad and I sincerely appreciate the kind words.

Unfortunately, my photography and computer skills are severely lacking and as a result, I have few pictures on the site of her (Jason was good enough to post the ones in the gallery section on this site). I will try to change my ways and get some up.

That said, beauty can be only skin deep and I just found I need to replace my transom before she goes back in this year; if only I had checked this last fall I'd be ready to go instead of scrambling to find the right folks to get the work done (fortunately I know them) and before the 4th of July. I will put up a separate thread asking for some advice on this later.

Last, Mike (METAN Marine) does do some nice work to be sure. As far as the price, to some degree I think it is a bit like high-end real estate - ultimately it is only "worth" what someone else will pay for it, just need the right buyer.

Thanks for making my weekend everyone - anyone want to help replace a transom?
