Do the math. Leave from Miami (ramp to Bimini Dock) around 60 miles if you drive straight. Leave from Palm Beach area and it is longer and going into the stream.

50 gal is enough to get you there, refuel after you clear and refuel as needed and make sure you are topped off for the ride home.

I made the trip 15+ times in a 20' potter.

Sorry didn't really answer the question but in my big boat w/ twin 250 ox66 leaving from Boca I burn 53 -58 gal over and mid to high 40's on the way back. I hold 260 gal and only top off if I plan on running up to the Issacs or way south.
