More bracket photos. Transom is in It consists of 1" core cell sandwiched in between a piece of 3/4" ply and 1/2 I ply. There are 2 layers of 1808 over the inside.

I had some core cell 1/2" that has been laying around so I decided to use that but it was warped so I put down some plastic and glassed them up wit some 1808 and weighted it down. That straightened them out after the glass dried.
