Hey Martin - uh oh . . . a 20" motor on a 22"/23" deep bracket will probably have some issues. Even if you get the bracket height just perfect. The bracket may block water from the prop (b/c it's an obstruction hanging 2" to 3" below the cavitation plate).

With a 22"/23" depth and a 25" shaft motor there is a little wiggle room to adjust the motor height up or down.
