Good tip and thanks for the post. The toilet bolts are exactly the same as the ones that came out of both my 25 seafari and 20 sceptre. But I did not want to go brass and I could not find them in stainless at any of the local hardware stores. It was mentioned in my post that ss carriage bolts worked for one of the members and they do fit nicely into the window channel however they will spin when tightening unless you can pull down on the bolt when tightening to keep the square part of the carriage bolt into the channel. I could not make them work for my application due to the tight area I had to work with. I ended up getting the original bolts from American Marine at a reasonable cost and life was good again.
