About to buy 1979 seacraft
I have long time loved the straigt forward custom clean look of seacrafts. Today I am about to buy a 1979 20 seacraft with a t top and a 2001 150 2 stroke Johnson that apparently froze up. It is for 4grand and is in great shape and comes with the trailer. Is this a steal?

I don't come across these often in SC

sounds very fair without any pics, adding a decent motor with the T Top and trailer would make a very nice setup for inshore and offshore

My dad took a closer look at it today and realized it needed more work then what was visible from where we were looking the day before. Still a good looking boat in all but we are looking for a boat that isn't so much of a project and more ready for this summer. If any of yall are interested in it, it is located off of coleman in Mt. pleasant at the old lumber yard next to Red Drum. http://charleston.craigslist.org/boa/3728272988.html
The add doesn't have pics but it is white and has been repainted before. Realistically we will probably get a 17 scout or keywest which will be so cliche with everyone having one and all here but oh well. |

If you are looking for a sweet SeaCraft, check out the 20ft MA parked just down the road from where you were at the turn in to Christ Our King. Don't really have any details but its got a yellow hull and looks to be very well taken care of. I have a 1972 MA and trust me when I tell you the SeaCraft ride blows those boats you mentioned away. I can try and get the # of the boat if you would like...

I helped a guy buy a 20 MA last year and he's moving up - wife - its in Tampa but he brought it by and its sweet. DonV was going look at it but its ready to turn the key. On a lift so sea trial is easy and my best friend did all the work on it to get it right. You can look it up CL down here but no surprises, it has a trailer road ready to bring it home

Hey that's close enough that I can make that one! Just give me a month or two to get one of my sc running and I would be down to do a S.C. or N.C. meet.
