thanks striper565, I'm reconsidering the powder idea after reading about chipping when drilling into coating as I have to drill snaps for new top. today I saw a windshiald that was painted with SEM auto trim paint, it looked good but I'm wondering how long it will last before having to repaint. I would like to see those pictures and I hope it comes out good for you. thanks,motbed
