Well after terminating and butt splicing and laying on my back for a couple of hours I got bored...
Laid the first part of my "Boot" stripe to see how it will look. Basically the painter (ease of layout) cut the blue and white at the hard chine. I just brought up the white 1/4" to give the color a pronounced separation. The next stripe will be up by the water line. Still deciding how wide. BEFORE, AFTER, very Subtle Need to get some more terminals and wire so the wiring end can be completed... ![]()

Not much progress for the last three weeks (on a road trip). So now it is time to button this up.
In my post #357 when I was installing the head, I needed to install a shut off valve on the thru hull fittings for the head. One was real easy and the other was a real PIA. The problem was that in order to close the valve I had to reach under the floor. This is where the challenge began. It was hard to get my hand around the lever to force the valve close and to get leverage. There was not enough room as the pictures will show. So the solution was to make a paddle out of the lever and now everything works very smooth. Valve without Lever under the head. ![]() Orignal Lever ![]() Solution Paddle Lever ![]() ![]() Open Position ![]() Closed ![]() I think Strick once said if it was easy everyone would have a Seacraft ![]()
