Calm before the storm?

Today: South winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. A slight chance of thunderstorms may increase winds and seas in the afternoon.

Tonight: Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. A chance of thunderstorms may increase winds and seas in the evening...then showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms may increase winds and seas after midnight.

Saturday: Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. A chance of thunderstorms may increase winds and seas in the morning...then a slight chance of showers in the afternoon.

Saturday Night: North winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to around 20 knots after midnight. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Bay and inland waters choppy.

Sunday: Northeast winds around 20 knots diminishing to around 15 knots in the afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Bay and inland waters choppy.

IF the local weather guys are right......we got unlucky on the timing of this "weak" cold front. Looks like rain for sure Saturday morning, then will clear up. As you can see from Dave's post wind will be the big issue. Good news is it's supposed to stay dry all day today.

So, off I go in a couple of hours.....
