Thanks for the comments. Sunshine Welding in Port Canaveral built it, I'm very happy with the job Matt and the boys did for me.

With my DF250, I'm running a Suzuki 3 blade 16X23 prop. At 3500 rpm, cruise is around 25 kts(29 mph), which is comfortable in a 2-3' sea. In calm water, 4200 rpm gets me 30 kts (34 mph). I top out at 43 kts (49 mph) with a light load.

I don't have a fuel flow meter, but I did a test with a 6 gal tank in calm water and got 3nm/gal

Sandy, there is a ray of hope I can make Long Point. I'll elaborate on the other thread.
