Very nice work. You're going to love it when it's done.

I agree with Ole on the corrugated bilge pump hose. Get rid of it now. It will crack. Ask me how I know this...

Instead, use either 1" nylon reinforced vinyl tubing,





or better, 1" spa hose.


I've found both types sold by the foot at my local Ace Hardware or Home Depot. If you soften the end of either type in hot water, or with a heat gun, it will slip over the 1 1/8" fitting on the pump. In addition to being more durable, the smooth walled tubing will have less resistance, so you'll get better flow.
