I'll get a photo in a bit, my tank is still out and it's an '89 as well.

My fill hose was not foamed in and ran in the channel with the vent hose. There was however a pretty severe kink in it where it had to pass under the the liner floor corner. Made it a beetch to get out, pulled mine out with my tractor. Will try to find the id plate, tucked it away for safe keeping.
