Everything Moose said. If you are tank diving, there is nothing better, especially if you have the kind of wonderful custom trigger mechs that he does.

I can make a good case for a lighter, more streamlined gun if you are freediving. The difference is drag and inertia is considerable and begins to wear on you after a long day. I shoot a sling, the ultimate in light weight and low drag. Can't even imagine dragging a wood gun around for 5 or 6 hours. Still, lots of very good freediving spearos use wood guns
