I didn't mean to pick on the fat kid. The boat is a lot of fun in a light chop with an aft CG. As you noticed, she launches on even relatively small waves, but she lands without a slam. That's probably fine on Lake Lanier, but the weight forward is a must if you get over 2'-4' slop in the salt.
