Bored!
What is a guy suppose to do when he has finished his project and is BORED!
My answer was go work on the BOAT TRAILER... When I got the trailer it was functional but ugly. However the 21 was first and now I had a little time to get the trailer up to snuff. After replacing the bunks, I did the carpet and then added ez slides. Then said the raw wood bunks need help...so a little primer and some marine top side paint and the bunks looked good. Wheels...I really did not want a show queen trailer so I decided that all the wheels needed was paint...Rust O....new flexi drip is the ticket. Stuff goes on easy and it looks great. Plus if you don't like it, you can peel it off. Before and After

Who you kidding, that trailer looks better than brand new!
Nice job, as usual. How did you paint them, tires off, or just kick ads masking job?

Nice job Terry! (As usual). I was wondering how you were planning on painting over the galvanized wheels. Paint doesn't stick long term to galvanize.
On a different subject, if you are REALLY bored...you can help me on my trailer. I blew out a wheel bearing last weekend on my last boating trip of the year...argh! Hope the bearing races were not welded to the axle due to the heat. I'm going out there today to try to disassemble the wheel, etc. Sorry to slighly derail your thread but I thought it was closely related. Jim
