Me, personally I hate the t-top kits. Custom welded is the way to go! I weld aluminum and my dad builds T-tops and tuna towers for a living so I might be bias. Lol. I think there is a place in the market for them but there is a guy here on the coast that builds basic custom fit ones for $1200 starting price complete and installed. That's hard to beat. It dose seem like the bolt on tops have got nicer as time as passed tho...
