I've got a 140 4 stroke Susuki and love it. Nice find by the way.

Thanks Waterboy, I've been thinking about going to see the Suzuki dealer thats close by to see what he'll do for me. Meanwhile i'm doing a major cleanup and upgrading of fuel and steering systems in my driveway once I finish those tasks i'll take the boat to a nearby marina and have the water pump changed on the old Johnson 175 and all systems checked and if it runs,Great and if not then time to repower . By the way, your boat is a real head turner, Very nice.

Nice find Linesider. I have a 1979 Master Angler with a 1999 Johnson 175. And I love it. Yes it's a tad overpowered but it is very close to a 50 mph boat lightly loaded and is a blast to run. Of course I try to keep her under 5k revs.. Best of luck with your new score.
