not all "fiberglass" is created equally - meaning,not all fiberglass is effected...

Resins have come a long way in 50 years.
As have fibers.

Much like composites.

I`m sure Shine is way ahead of me, but others read these posts and I try to
make folks think and evaluate choices as I have learned the hard way thinking
I was ahead of the curve.

You have much to offer here as well.

I think Don Herman`s resin is a cool 1,000 clams per barrel.
Isophthalic or some such stuff.

Novolac epoxy or vinylester might also work well.
