I have a 1974 23 cc that I did a complete restoration from the stringers up.. It was going to be set up for a Verado 250-275-300.. Until I came across a 2012 Yamaha F300 30" with all rigging with 64 hours on it. I could not pass it up. It's mounted to the transom right now and I will be starting to rig and finish my boat so she will make the water this summer... I did look at the Suzuki 300as well..
When I bought my boat it was powered by a Johnson 200 Ocean Runner and it ran real nice.
