Default Ths build will start Nov. 1 st

I just want to thank all of the members here you guys Rock The Boat. Also THT has been helpful.

Kmoose has sold his not done project 23 Tsunami it is reality more like a gift as to price IMHO.

Boat name Fish Tank aka The Beast.

I plan to make the cabin two foot larger to get more room for the admiral. Also a better ride for the Capt. Was going with pipe work and hard top. Now going with full cabin, front windows will open, side windows fixed and drop down curtain at the rear. AC will be under the port bunk. Power will likely be Zuk 300 and full brack w/flotation. Tank will be 150 gal.

Will likely make the gunnel's wider for bow access with grab rail on cabin for safety. Win lass, 20 chain and 600 rode. Batteries: group 24 for start and 29 for house. Will have shore power as well.

I think all the jewelry will be Gem Lux. Will use my existing Furuno 588 FF and Garmin 94sv plotter. After I recover from the money heme-rage, plan on closed radar with independent screen. Forgot, ducer will be 600 or 1000 watt Thru hull.

Now the fish stuff. Five gold tulips on the aft cabin, two or three on the cabin vertical sides. Possible over head rods in cabin? None will be under the gunnel, thats for deck brush, gaffs and dock hook. Live well will be made from a water system aerator tank cut down to about 60 gal. Plan on two pumps one 800 and one 1100 or 1500. Will have multiple over flow levels and quick dump capacity. Forgot, 10-20 gal. fresh wash down and raw wash down. Fish box under deck if I can find the room.

Will build in lots of tackle drawers and and build 150-200 qt removable cooler.
I know I missed a lot here so we will see. Oh by the way, hull black, deck white and inside gunnel's light Grey. Cabin will be white as well, hull will have gold boot stripe and letters see the present sled for reference.

Default Forgot some stuff

Nov 1 st I will cut back to 3 day work week my neighbor TA will be on staff when he can. Sealed the deal yesterday. He wont take money so.....he wants some trees removed so I will hire out the service since I need some work as well.

He used to work at boat repair shop. His glass skills make me look like a ten year old with his first screw driver.

The reason my avitar is like that is it's going to be an up hill battle.

Congrats on your score, Having some one to help with glass knowledge will be a plus. Study the info on this site and use it to your advantage. Don't be afraid to post questions or post progress pics if help needed. I know the members here were a vast help to me during my projects or builds.

Flying f, thanks I will be glad to be coached along the way better to listen than to have it my way.

Am taking one of my partners son's under my wing to mentor in the HVAC trade. Haven't done that for over 10 years. Too many drop outs and the kids that know just enough to be dangerous and leave for greener pastures. We will see.

"build" - why does everyone use that term ? "i built my truck" "i built a motor" "I built a boat" "i built my car"

"build" "built",to me,that means you built it,as in built it all.doing a restore IS NOT building anything, just like adding a cam with more lift and duration, and installing exhaust headers,IS NOT building a motor....

pictures below - that's "building a boat"

"shine" is "building a boat"

Wrong, using your logic this is building a boat. Oh, and if you are "building" an engine you need to go get you some iron ore as using someone elses block is shameful.

Sometimes I wonder who took your lollypop when you were a kid....

This a boat site for those wanting to share, get help, or enjoy seacraft boats. It is not a politically correct English grammar lessen site. I don't think many up here like to see some one discredit a new member that is trying to get started on his boat project. I feel like that is what you are trying to do here, discredit every one that has done a project or boat rebuild. Just because we haven't cut trees down to make our own plywood and made everything form scratch dose not keep me from feeling proud to do a rebuild, restomod, boat build or what every you want to call it. Insulting new members is not accepted here...

Exactly why I prefer this site. THT is great, but say one thing unintelligent and they smell blood in the water. Goes without saying, some people need to remember there is always someone with more knowledge, but having the proverbial rod is no way to prove a point. We know we are not manufacturing boats. We are also well aware that people like Shine have skills that far exceed our own. I have been surprised by the responses that I have gotten to my stupid questions without so much as a "that's not what it's called moron".

Thanks to those that continue to offer their expertise for those of us just trying to learn our way through.

didn't insult anyone - nor did I mean to insult !

no discredit either - perhaps you should go back and reread what I typed !

you guys really get your collective panties in a bunch quickly !

I made a statement - concerning the term "build",how that can be spun into insulting and discrediting, that's a fascination...

"building" and "modifying" are 2 different things - I pointed that out

I guess you didn't "feel that" ?

I "feel" like you, should learn to better understand what you're reading...
