I would skip the windless for the time being and enroll in Moose's offshore class in stern anchor deployment and retrieval. You will learn how to deploy and retrieve your anchor from the comfort of your stern area without any cumbersome trips to the bow. Required investment includes anchor, chain, rope, anchor ball and a stolen milk crate from behind the Piggly Wiggly. Upon graduation you will be able to smoke all the windless boys in getting your hook set and pulled. Your cooler will be filled early and you will back at the dock before everyone else sipping margaritas upon their return!
