Another use for coal tar epoxy?

I think I'll just roll on some of that bed liner from walmart. My son and some family will be the primary users of this 16 footer, as I'm on the Seacraft most of the fishing season.
I've had a few aluminum boats that over time developed tiny leaks around some of the rivets, so I figure while they are exposed a coat of some flexible sealer would be a good idea. Thanks for the tips
