The masking won't be too bad, and you can't roll Awlcraft anyway.
I'm doing this with my son's friend (who's also my fishing buddy) - it's his first boat so he's making the call on a lot of it, and he would not believe that a roll & tip could be as nice as a spray job - but I've seen some pretty impressive results.
