I am on Seacraft #5 and all have had open transoms and no issues with water ever..being an 03 you could just bracket that and leave the transom open and save yourself thousands of dollars though it might not be the look your after, but you wont have to climb over the transom to get in and out if your diving or what not

Yeah I know Ryan, I have a friend who just sold a 2009 (I think an '09) 20' Tracker/Mako made SeaCraft with no problem. However I don't want a late model SC, my old, paid for '78 clunker does just fine. Speaking of expensive, I noticed the new Hell's Bay 24' "bay boat" comes in at a smooth $110k with a 250hp. Holy shit!! Way out of my tax bracket!
