Default I'm in

I think this is an excellent idea. I have been thinking of asking the group’s appetite to formalize a model registry database. After I lost my ’78 Seafari, I found another ’78 for sale right down the road from where I bought my 1st one the year prior. I didn’t buy it by the way. I looked back at production numbers for that year and the total was 22 outboard Seafari's and 41 total. So that got me searching on how many other ‘78’s I could find by using the search tool and Google. I think I only found only 2 or 3 more or only 12% of the fleet.

As time moves forward on these old girls a registry would be nice as evidence of how many survived, been put back into service and, over time, ownership history. I should preface this by say I can’t offer to maintain something like this. Just thought it was a nice idea.
