Well,hopefully you were able to get some fish. I went out a couple of times with a friend on his 20' aluminum (not a Seacraft). Wind went from 0 to about 25 in a mater of minutes and sitting in the bow in that thing not fun.
We did manage a couple of small Halibut and several Cod. Got one Red a later day. My daughter and grandson stayed 3 days with us 30 miles into Denali NP. They had a couple of days free and I sent them down to Homer to go Halibut fishing. Turns out you can't Halibut fish on Wednesday. I was looking through the long list of rules for Salmon fishing and where and when you can fish. I read where King had to be measured before taking them out of the water???. Sitting here in Palmer for a bit, before heading back towards Fl, where the rules now make more sense to me.
