Help!

Is it just me or does the site log you off after not clicking on something for 5 minutes? I just spent about 6 or 7 minutes typing a post and when I went to submit it, I had to log back in and my post was gone. Must I save my text every minute or so to prevent this from happening?

It has happened to me. If I know I have something to submit which is not real brief, i prepare it on a laptop as a word document then copy and paste it in to avoid the aggravation. Only do short things like this from iphone.

I always highlight and copy on long reply's or post prior to clicking submit that way if it don't go threw I can just log back in refresh the page and click paste to slap it back up there. It has got me too many times too.

Is there any way we can have that time lengthened? Sorry, but, I'm challenged when it comes to posting.

The only thing that comes to me is go to "User CP" (Upper left tool bar)

Go to: Settings & Options
Click on Edit Options

Go all the way to the bottom under Miscellaneous Options and select "Enhanced Interface" Full WYSIWYG.


I have back stroked to look something up and have one of my long winded
post disappear.... Talk about PO'd

When posting messages to the forums or other members, there are three interface types available to you. The simplest of these is a simple text box, while the last is a fully-fledged WYSIWYG editor, which allows you to format your text as you want it and see the results immediately.

Depending upon the capabilities of your web browser, you may not be able to use all of these options. If you experience problems when posting messages, try switching to a different interface type.
