I have sad news. We are a small shop and a coworker said he has a weding to attend that weekend. He had no days marked on the vacation calender, but said the owner was aware
of this. The owner said this was correct and was an oversight. Oversight my ass. |

Guys that are going: The Bahamas courtesy flag is different than the normal Bahamas flag. Also, besides that one, the yellow quarantine flag, you need a US flag as well. Once we clear customs, the US flag is positioned behind the courtesy flag. See photos below:

Good news is my rude got new BRP carb kits and has never run better. Bad news is i am still dialing in the air bleed. Now holding plane @2200 and 12 mph easily. Maybe chasing a less than perfect reed as it is the same carb hating being palmed. Thought I had gotten past that. |

3 boats (2 23SFs, 1 23 Sceptre) and 8 people leaving from the Jupiter Inlet on July 11th. 2 more SeaCrafts would be cool! C'mon guys, pull out that dusty man card and tell the Mrs. you are gone for a few days....The CSC Banner will be present (thanks Ken), will you??

I chatted with a Bahamas customs rep. She said we needed proof of ownership. Like the boat title. Is that correct or will registration be suitable? Or photocopy of Title!?!?

Registration definitely, a copy of your title isn’t a bad idea.

![]() I was in Walkers years ago with the WPB Fishing Club when one of our group boats (25' Contender) Was snatched over night right from its mooring. He finally got it back , I think around 4-5 years later. It was trashed. Nobody saw or knew nothing even with marina security sleeping with one eye wide open. What an ordeal he had with customs & his insurance company. Lessons here not to scare but be mindful this day in age. Carry proper paperwork, spare parts for your motor (prop, anchor & fuel filters a must) call your insurance company for temporary coverage in Bahamian Waters. Also, some type of locking device for your SeaCraft & gear if possible. I hope all you guys have a great trip. Collectively, all of you have a wealth of knowledge and seamanship I cant wait for the pictures ![]()
