Yes Sir! Makes total sense. I always use north up, even in my trucks. But I had a guest on board, younger, his numbers, and Part of convincing him to come along is I let him run the boat. First thing he did, was change the orientation, to run similar to his non-Garmin unit.

We couldn’t see land at 13 miles, so using the compass was even more difficult for me. Thanks Hermit!!!

How’s the fishing/weather on the Cape?
