Was trying to show where gutters began. Think I’m going to end up going quite a few inches forward. Once this thing is glassed to the floor there really ain’t any turning back! Haha. Have a pic of her sitting outside on the trailer that will be sold with the 1976 Seafari, The Blank Canvas, original FastLoad to the 1979 MA. Cannot figure out how to post multiple pics from my library. Guess I fingered it out...

And yes, bunks fully extend to support transom.

1999 Johnson 175 carbed. All torque, smoke and loud. 168 hours. Garage queen. Fired her up at the sand bar one day with some friends aboard. Didn’t warm her up as long as I like before the anchor was pulled. Put her in gear, she sneezed, then farted and stalled. Roommate, from Jersey of course, says “She’s starving for garage air.” Classic.

Today I was able to meet with builder. Agreed to set consul roughly 4” forward of the deck gutters, gaining 7” of cockpit space. Placing batteries inside consul, apart and linear with keel. Placed four SS sockets for fenders topside of gunwhales. Replacing Perko chrome stern light with polished stainless steel. Replacing old pitted Racor fuel/water separator with new SS, all lines, filter and glass bowl. SeaStar tilt helm in place centered. Conversion hydraulic fittings from SeaStar helm to Hynautic steering ram ordered. Binnacle seated. Garmin 1040xsv mounted along with Fusion stereo head. 13.5” SS steering wheel ordered. Couple of pics.
