This is a photo of new anchor hatch installed. Appears may be able to support 2.5” pvc pipe for anchor shaft and chain. Anyone ever made this improvement?

Seems original deck, forward floor of casting platform, penetrates bow area below removable piece of glass, which anchor and rode rest on. And the hardware securing bow eye, difficult to see in this pic, is far enough forward to allow addition of pvc pipe.

Note the hatch is never going to be able to close while anchor (rode) is deployed. Pretty useless.

Unable to fully rotate horizontal (left). Floor piece of glass with matching carpet removed. The woven rover is the “tongue” of casting platform, best I can tell. Any help?
