the equipment is called a posi-turner. One of my family members has one at their shop and is going to flip it for me. Here is what i've come up with to support the hull on the trailer. The cap may be fine but I've already faired and painted it so i dont want to create a bunch of re-work. Also, the cap at the transom is cambered like the classic I/O's so that would have its own challenges. I plan on supporting the hull by the sole and stringers and a block of EPS foam at the nose. I will also strap the nose and transom eyes to the trailer since i have to move the trailer around a bit where i work on the boat, incase it gets tippy. I may be over thinking it but i'd rather spend a day building some sawhorse/truss supports than crack the cap and spend more time fixing that. I'll get a video of the posi turner flipping my hull, im probably about a week out.
