Optional based on how you wire the switches. the orange wire from the paddle switches has to have power to operate and light up the indicator for the position of the tabs. When the circuit is broken, the tabs will reset. if you wire this to your ignition source, it will reset when you turn off your key. if you wire this to your fuse block, they will reset when you turn off your main battery switch.

Had assumed as much but thx for the details. Just redid my transom and raised the engine. Have to check it out more to confirm am happy with the position. But need to trim down more than before to avoid porpoising. |

I'll correct myself. if you wire the orange wire to your fuse block, they will not reset when you turn the battery switch because they wont have power to do so!

Not sure about the rest of you but, have a 50 year history of
hydraulic Bennett's on the "Bones" Came off when rebuilt 30+ years ago. Same pump, same rams... ![]() Changed out the dried out lines a couple of years ago !! Only used red aviation hydraulic fluid in steering and Bennett's.. You be the judge.. ![]()
