So,what I am going to do is to order some 1700 for myself to use wherever I don't want the extra mat (learned that from your builds) and sandwich two 1700 plys between the 1708 for his transom,.We'll also reinforce the corners with 1700 tabs. I had looked at some biax that appeared to be woven but is now apparent that the stitched is the way to go. I appreciate your input. Stay healthy
