Don & Terry: thanks for your input. Think my next purchase will be a shop manual. Found 2 relays. Switched them with same symptoms. Fuses appear good. Got to be something in the “up” circuit since the “down” side works fine. Can a solenoid go bad for half it’s function - good for down, bad for up? I’m wondering if a micro switch/ limiter got buggered up?
