So Jim, just how much rotted ply (% wise) did you pull out? I imagine you had plenty of moisture.

Well, my transom was mostly Plywood mush. I'd say 85% was "wet", and of that, 50% was really poor and gooey (easy to get out). It was wet, but pretty firm in the corners and edges (hard to get out). It took about 8 hours total to get all the wood out completely.
