One of the best days of my life was when I found out(through CSC) that a few 25 Seafaris had been made. Took me a couple of years to find one and talk the owner into selling it for a price I could afford. A couple of Bahama trips and I began to realize it wasn’t just good; it was the perfect boat for what I wanted to do and much better than I had hoped. Ten years of great Bahama trips, Bimini, the Berrys, Abaco, Exuma, once all the way to San Salvador, fabulous stuff. I named the boat “Someday Came” because “someday” I was going to find the perfect boat and someday had come. I expected to be buried in that boat.

As the years went by, something crummy began to happen. I started to get old!!! and began to dimly perceive that, not too far in the future, the 25 was going to be more boat than I could handle. But I sure wasn’t ready to quit yet. Then we decided to move to North Carolina and the 25 really is too big for most of the boating I planned to do. So, the sale decision was clear, logical, necessary, and I HATED THE WHOLE IDEA!!! Oh well, shit happens, and I will eventually find another Seacraft.

She is going to a good home, a CSCer(snook295) from Key West with young kids and a wife who doesn't like to bounce (she is going to love the boat).

Still, it was a sad day. Now I know how the guy I bought it from felt. I watched as the boat was pulled out of the driveway, down the street, around the corner, and out of my life. Hope all is well with her with here.

Know anybody with a 20 Seafari and a good transom?

Connor-Thank you so much for the years of documented travel in and through the Bahamas!! No one has done it better on CSC!! The adventures will live on in your CSC posts and those posts will continue to inspire all of us who seek to travel beyond the horizon. You proved the uniqueness of the 25 Seafari design with those trips that totaled at or beyond 1000 miles. I am looking forward to your next chapter when you get your 20 Seafari dialed in North Carolina! Tight lines brother!!

Hello Conner, sorry to hear of your sellers remorse. I did not know that you had moved to North Carolina.

Martin, UncleBoo recently contacted me wanting me to let you know that if you were looking for a project, that he would be willing to let you purchase the 1976 I still have in South Carolina. We were in agreement of $1200, plus $100 for a spare tire, provided I delivered to him in Easton, NC. He is a little behind schedule on a CC. Left you a message on your cell. This one is a great candidate, but is in need of a pretty full restoration. He has also kept his word to purchase if you are not interested. I thought it was a nice gesture.
