I pulled my 24’ Fleet Craft and then my 23 Tsunami for a 5 years with a 2004 Tacoma Prerunner 120 miles round trip to Cedar Key from Ocala. Back then CK had a bad steep ramp as well.

Good working surge brakes on both axles takes on ALL of the breaking on the trailer and boat so comments on the tow vehicle’s breaking abilities is a moot point. That of course is only the case on a trailer with working brakes.
