Default Re: Insurance on older Seacrafts

The only 2 23' Sceptre's I know of are mine and a yellow one that has been re powerered 5 times under the same owner. I bought mine from an old family friend who used the boat 4 times in 4 years. Needless to say the boat was in excellent shape and very original with lots of teak. I thoroughly went through it and replaced all wiring, steering, repowered, hoses etc. That was 2 years ago and the boat has been very good to me.
I grew up in Seabrook, keep my boat at Lakewood Yacht Club, but fish out of Freeport offshore. I also lived in St. Pete Florida in the early 90's- loved the fishing down there, was very acitve in FCA- ban the nets and built the Florida Aquarium in Tampa. I hear the fishing has improved since the net were banned. That's a good thing. Catch a snook for me, I miss em.
